 For example, an operations manager may want to know what number of jobs is scheduled to be late at any given time.  An alert can be set up so anytime the operations manager opens Planet Together, the information will already be populated and visible. A purchaser may want to know how many POs are still open.  An alert can be set up for this also.  The scheduler can use these alerts to monitor the effects of changes. Those changes may come from the floor, but also can come from moving jobs around on the schedule within Planet Together.
